Kilner Screens And Aura
Viewing Using Dr. Kilner's
Method

Take a deep dive in to the many examples of antique and vintage Kilner screens, the progenitors of our authentic

Dicyanin Aura Goggles™.

What Are Kilner Screens?

"For decades we have been told by clairvoyants, mediums, and Theosophists that the body is surrounded by a halo. To-day, we know for a certain fact that this is actually the case, for the reason that we are able to see it for ourselves by means of the 'Kilner Screen.’ Prior to the time of Dr.  Kilner's discovery it could only be witnessed clairvoyantly, and was imagined by the majority of scientists to be a negative quantity, and by others to be, at best, but an interesting theory for speculation." (Light, March 15, 1913)

Over 100 years ago Dr. Walter J. Kilner, a London physician and medical imaging specialist pioneered the use of colored spectral screens (lenses) for viewing the human bioenergy field which we colloquially call "the aura".

These Kilner Screens went through many prototypes and variations from liquid filled cells to varieties of single and laminated lenses over the ensuing 100 years, all with varying levels of success.

Many thousands of medical professionals and lay persons in the metaphysical communities used Kilner screens to experiment with the human aura in real time, including well known luminaries such as Sirs Arthur Conan Doyle and Oliver Lodge.

The Many Types Of Kilner Screens

As you can imagine, Kilner screens were a sensation in the medical as well as the metaphysical communities 100 years ago and were widely used in various forms of experimentation, seances, and clairvoyant practices.

With this popularity came a variety of Kiler Screen variations, though all consumer variations did away with Dr. Kilner's original liquid filled glass cells and used other methods to construct their lenses. Due to the rapid deterioration of the liquid Dicyanin cells, Dr. Kilner himself used some of

these more stable lens varieties later in his experimentation.

The most popular construction method was to sandwich gelatine or resin that had been dyed with Dicyanin between two outer glass lenses. This method worked up to a point, but these lenses also degraded over the years becoming completely opaque, cloudy, and unusable for optical or photographic use.

The video clip to the left shows a comparison of some vintage Kilner screens (center) in our collection with liquid Dicyanin and a pair of our Dicyanin Aura Goggles™ (top).

The picture below shows a view of the lenses through our Dicyanin Aura Goggles™ (top) compared with the same vintage Kilner screens (bottom). You can very clearly see the clarity of our lenses compared lens degradation and cloudy mass in the center of the vintage lenses. You can't see anything through the vintage lenses.

Our lenses solve for this problem and remain optically pure while others become unusable for viewing.
